This 2003 model features the 4-door Crew Cab, a short bed, 4-wheel drive, and the highly regarded Allison 5-speed automatic transmission.

The truck has been a SoCal resident from new. It was owned by a firefighter in nearby Oxnard and has been used as a weekend toy only.

VIN *1GCHK23G43F155749* was manufactured in November of 2002 and comes with a clean Carfax and new Smog Certificate.

The truck was registered 'til April of 2022; since it's in dealer inventory, there are no DMV back fees due. Smog check is new.

Mileage of 115,267 is the original mileage this truck has traveled in the past 20 years, which translates to about 8,350 miles per year, or 695 miles per month, on average.

In the past year, we spent over $9,000 on repairs for this truck, namely for a refurbished Transmission Control Unit, a complete transmission rebuilt, a transfer case rebuilt, an ECU rebuilt, and a dash cluster rebuilt, hereby addressing all weak spots these trucks have.

Motorvation comes from GM's 8.1-Liter Vortech 8100 Big Block V8 that puts out 325 hp and 450 lb-ft (610 Nm) of torque at only 2800 RPM. It is mated to an Allison 1000 5-speed automatic transmission and is rated to pull a 12,000 lbs trailer.

The engine is healthy as the proverbial ox, with no issues of any kind to report.

Since this truck lived all its life in sunny Southern California, there is zero rust anywhere, not even deep down under.

Several thousand dollars have been invested in suspension upgrades, money being no object.

Silverado wears brand new wheels with brand new 33 x 12.50R20LT tires all around.

Paint is mostly factory original, with just a few blend-in spots to remove scratches.

Let's move on to the interior now.

Perfect dashboard with zero cracks.

E-V-E-R-Y-T-Y-I-H-G works as it should. All warning lights go on and off.

Cloth seats are comfy and firm, up front . . .

. . . and in the back.

All lights have been upgrades to LEDs.

Drop in bedliner is brand new as well.

Looking at the underside, we doubt that this truck has been in the dirt much, if at all.

Look at those clean floor pans!

This truck starts, runs, and drives flawlessly.

Everything works here; no excuses needed.

If you need a bullet-proof 4x4 truck that can pull a heavy trailer, this is it.

With just 115K miles on the clock, this extensively equipped 3/4-ton Silverado is a solid buy that should last a long time to come.

Thanks for looking . . .
