The overwhelming majority of customers ordered it with the automatic transmission; only a handful ordered it with the 4-on-the-floor stickshift option.

This is one of these ultra rare birds!
The Euro 350SL offers a high-compression 200 horsepower 3.5-liter V8 engine, not available in the United States. Mated to the manual tranny and being of rather light weight, it provides true sports car performance, on par with a contemporary Porsche 911S!

More to come . . .

Like a virgin!
Yep, this is what an original, unmolested undercarriage on a 45 year-old California car looks like!
