In fact, we all enjoy older used cars "Made in USA" as our daily means of transportation. We always buy nice, clean, well-taken-care-of original cars, boasting original paint, original interior, and super low miles, and drive 'em for years, usually trouble free.
Smart? We like to think so!
The 1994 Buick Skylark Grand Sport Coupe presented here is such a wonderful car. All original save for consumables, it has traveled a mere 58,245 miles in 23 years!
Motorvation comes from a transverse mounted 3.1-liter V6 that is healthy like the proverbial ox. There are no leaks of any kind to report.
Factory finished in Aubergine Metallic over a matching velour-and-leather interior, the car is a rare bird. So rare that we have never seen another one like it. Being on a budget doesn't mean having to drive a boring soap box from Asia. Far from it.

Wednesday, July 19, we took this unique American on a test drive, while snapping these photos.
The Buick starts on the button, settles into a smooth idle, and humms almost imperceptibly.
The ride is smooth, yet not mushy. Steering is tight, brakes anchor the car with authority.
Once you step on the loud pedal, it surges forward with determination. Fuel consumption is close to 30mpg, and we think this car would make a wonderful daily driver for somebody who's looking for a stylish low mileage car at a bargain price.
