Bonneville Speed Week 2010
August 12-19, 2010

We're happy to report that Californiaclassix' modified Roadster, a very traditional, rear engined, steel-bodied 1927 Ford Model "T" nicknamed "Low Sodium," achieved 2 new Land Speed Records during this year's Bonneville Speed Week, held from August 12-19 on the Salt Flats near Wendover, Utah.

Driven by Bill and powered by a 370 cu. in. Chevrolet small block V-8 prepared by Helmut, the car was able to take the C/Gas class record from 199mph to 222mph and the C/Fuel class record from 194mph to 224mph, ultimately prevailing against stiff competition.
Congratulations Bill, Helmut, and crew!
