The 1^st generation Nissan Pathfinder has gained a reputation as a bullet-proof no nonsense SUV for people who don't want a computer on wheels.

This particular car has been babied all its life. It was used as a commuter only, has never seen off-road use, and it shows . . . everywhere! The car is as clean and as original as they come. Based on the condition alone, it looks like a low mileage car, and that after 35 years of loyal service!

Power comes from a fuel injected 3.0-liter V6 engine, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The engine runs like a champ, doesn't smoke, doesn't leak, and doesn't show any untoward behavior at all.

The battery is new, fuel pump and fuel filter are new, coolant system has been flushed and refilled, and all belts have just been changed, including the TIMING BELT!

The body is straight as an arrow. The gaps and shut lines are simply perfect. The rockers have zero rash, and there are no dings or dents anywhere!
All 4 tires are new!

Pathfinder carries all of its factory original white paint, complimented by the factory decal/stripe kit. The paint is in beautiful preserved condition, almost too good to be 3-1/2 decades old, but we measured it and the measurement confirmed that it's all factory original!

The interior is all original as well, except for the Alpine CD-head unit. The Pathfinder has a fold-up factory glass top, with removable cover. It works flawlessly.

Transmission choices are 2WD for commuting, 4WD-High for inclement weather and muddy/snowy terrain, and 4WD Low for real off roading and rock climbing. Everything works as it should!

The blue cloth interior is exceptionally well preserved. There are no rips or tears anywhere, not even on the outer bolsters of the driver's seat.

All of the gauges work flawlessly as well.

All of the control lights go on and off as designed. We smogged the Pathfinder quite recently, and it passed with flying colors.

Spacious rear seats provide plenty of space for two additional adults.

The fold forward individually, opening up a huge cargo area.

The spare wheel carrier can be swung out of the way, allowing the tailgate to be lifted up. Alternatively, the rear window can be lifted separately without having to move the spare wheel carrier.

With the folded forward rear seats, a huge cargo area allows to transport large items with ease.

This SUV is currently registered in California, needs nothing, and is ready to be driven anywhere.
